The Colchester Garden Festival is a town-wide celebration of nature, planting and community. I designed a range of materials for it, from event posters and the main festival map to the planting signs placed around different spaces. I wanted everything to feel bright, clear and welcoming, so people could easily find their way and enjoy the events. Using a colourful, consistent style helped tie it all together, so whether someone was following the map, spotting a poster or reading a planting sign, it all felt part of the same festival identity.
